pretty much and steered to the shoulder and pretty much hit the brake. >>reporter: he was driving home from work in dublin on westbound interstate 5 80 around 4:00 o'clock thursday when silver 4 door car pulled up alongside the black suv he was driving. he saw 4 people in the car. he says the man in the front passenger seat pointed a handgun at him and opened fire. >> i just saw him pull the gun out then i heard the popping. gunshots. but the guy that was behind me said that there was at least 10 shots. but there were 7 on the truck. hole. >>reporter: westbound 5 80 at 164th avenue was completely shut down for an hour during the evening commute at chp officer comb the freeway for bullet casings and other evidence. traffic backed up for miles on 5 80 and highway 2 tlaichlt chp is investigating the shooting. >> hit my hat.
